We made a photogrammetry-based 3D model of the recently demolished National Electric Load Distributor for the 6th International Architectural Mock-up Festival in collaboration with Urbanum and Urbanum Lab.
The National Electric Load Distributor building was an icon of the late modernity and socialist realism in Hungary, but it has been demolished recently. We got the results of photogrammetric and LIDAR surveys. By using Blender and MeshLab, we could make a 3D mesh from the data. The model was embedded into an HTML page using Babylon.js. The stand-alone version of the model can be found at this link.
